Party Jollof Rice Video Recipe
The methods of cooking Jollof rice is as varied as the subject of its origin . As with most dishes in Nigeria quantities are not exactly measured and so the results vary. With party Jollof rice the catch is the ‘smoky flavour’ which is infused by burning the rice a bit.
Party Jollof rice just got this accidental flavour because the rice is cooked in large cast iron pots using fire wood. The rice therefore burns and also takes in the aroma of the smoke.The smoky effect can be achieved on an electric or gas burner. What we miss here is the fire wood smoke aroma.
