Lunch with my BFF- Tuwon Rice balls in Beef sauce

My sister has been hinting about my infrequent phone calls in the past few weeks. I see some attention seeking female . *wink, wink. What has really taken my time in the last few weeks is the cooking, photographing and writing for this blog.I decided this last weekend to make it up to my sister and BFF. Lunch at The Avenue suite, a  restaurant located on the water front of the Bar beach on Victoria Island Lagos. Menu choice is great and food is great and service is quick. It comes with good recommendation from me .I settled for Beef fillet with peppercorn sauce . Lunch was such fun , lots of laughter , catching up on family news and updates and jist.

The beef is my inspiration for the recipe I am featuring today.
Since  I discovered the appeal of the Tuwon Rice  warm or cold  in term of texture I have tried out several recipes that incorporates it and the results have been amazing.
In today’s dish as always I am using ingredients that are commonly found in the Nigerian markets or shops. Who says you cannot eat one of those fancy restaurant dishes you cannot even pronounce  the name of the dish, in the comfort of your home.
Sauces like our Beef sauce sure provides variety to our regular tomato beef stew. Tuwon Rice balls in Beef sauce  is what I call a EuroNaij dish.
